Welcome to the APIC Minnesota website

APIC Minnesota (APIC MN) is a local chapter of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc.

The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (APIC) is a multi-disciplinary voluntary international organization with over 10,000 members and a Minnesota Chapter of more than 300 members. Members and stakeholders work in a wide range of settings, representing hospitals, clinics, long-term care, industry, public health and other related fields.

APIC MN’s purpose is to influence, support, and improve the quality and safety of healthcare through the practice and management of infection prevention and control and the application of epidemiology in all healthcare settings. This is done through education, collaboration, research, practice, advocacy, and credentialing.
