North Memorial Medical Center, an independent Level 1 Trauma Center located in Robbinsdale, MN, has an immediate need for a full time Infection Prevention Practitioner. • Primary responsibility is to minimize risk to patients, staff and the community through surveillance, prevention and control of infection. • Design and implement surveillance systems to identify infection risks and trends. • Coordinate opportunities and teach infection prevention to patients, staff, and the community through presentations, clinical services, or written materials. • Facilitate the design, implementation and evaluation of effective programs for control of epidemiologically significant infection trends or events. • Maintain professional expertise and support infection prevention knowledge and awareness for patients, staff and the community.
