Public Policy Committee Responsibilities

The Public Policy Committee monitors legislative and regulatory activities that influence the practice of infection control and epidemiology in a variety of health care settings. The committee acts as a clearinghouse for APIC members to obtain information to legislative and regulatory issues and provides science-based information on infection prevention and control to policy makers.
