Membership Director - Kathleen Steinmann

Kathleen is currently employed at Hennepin County Medical Center, a 422 bed acute care teaching hospital. She received a BS in Medical Technology in 1985 and began her career in the clinical laboratory microbiology department. In 1997 Kathleen entered the world of infection control and is currently CBIC certified. Her current focuses include surveillance, construction, regulatory compliance, policy development, safety, and blood borne pathogens.
Kathleen participated on the Education Committee from 1998-2000 then joined the Governmental Affairs Committee in 2001. She co-chaired GAC in 2002, and chaired GAC from 2003-2004. Kathleen has been the membership director since 2005.
