Adriene Y. Thornton received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1991 from Albany State University, Albany, Georgia. She worked in a variety of areas including NICU, Pediatric Cardiology, Gastroenterology, and Home Care before moving to Minnesota in 1997. Since transplanting to Minnesota, she has worked in Pediatric Cardiology, Hematology/Oncology, and as a Nursing Supervisor. She completed her Master of Art in Organizational Management in 2004 at Concordia University, St. Paul. Adriene started her career as an ICP in 2004, and quickly joined and became active in the Minnesota chapter.
