President - Boyd Wilson
System Director, Infection Prevention and Control/Epidemiology
Boyd Wilson, MT(ASCP), MS, CIC has his undergraduate degree from the University of North Dakota and a graduate degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. He is currently the system director of infection prevention and control/epidemiology for the HealthEast Care System in St. Paul. Boyd lives in Lino Lakes, MN with his wife and 2 daughters. He enjoys the outdoors and adventure travel that has included bungee jumping in New Zealand. Boyd serves as a consultant and trainer for EMS providers, local corporations, public health agencies and community organizations. Boyd is certified in infection control and has been a member of APIC since 1995. He has been involved with the emerging pathogens task force and other working groups. He has served on the APIC-MN education, nominating and bylaws committees as well as 2 terms on the board as chapter secretary.
